Denise Scott

Denise first started working as a professional actor and comedian nearly thirty years ago, but it has been in the last five years that Denise has been selling out theatres, secured herself as a regular on high rating national television shows and found her books creeping towards best seller status.

In 2004, Denise, or Scotty as she's also know, received a Barry Award nomination for "Best Show" at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.  In 2009 she penned a memoir "All That Happened at Number 26", which became a national best seller as well as another live show hit with sell out seasons in the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and Sydney Opera House.

In 2011 Denise released her first comedy DVD, "Number 26", and started touring her new solo standup show "Regrets" nationally.  This tour saw her awarded the Melbourne Comedy Festival's Directors Choice Award and Denise winning a Helpmann Award for Best Comedy Performer.

Denise remains a favourite guest on many of Australia's favourite TV shows, including Spicks & Specks, Good News Week and The Project, and as a regular cast member on the high rating drama Winners & Losers.
